Abstract
Electroencephalography (EEG) is a useful method for examination of patients with several types of neurological disorders, including cerebral ischemia, encephalopathy and etc. Quantitative or computerized techniques, referred to as a quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG), have been developed to assist in improving of EEG interpretation process. The quantitative approach can display progressive changes in neurophysiological function over time. Computer-analyzed EEG studies indicates: drugs with similar psychotropic activities (for example, antidepressants, anxiolytics) have similar QEEG profiles. This allows the prediction of untested new drugs’ clinical activities and promotes psychotropic drugs’ development. The characteristic features of nootropics-induced EEG changes includes an increase of α- and β-rhythms power and reduction of Δ-rhythm power. The EEG indices of drug nootropic activity are the most obvious in cerebral vascular diseases.

Abstract
Although of existing guidelines and a lot of scientific publications of the management and care in patients with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), up to now there isn’t the universally accepted algorithm for ideal treatment in children with such disorder. In during 70 years of intensive study of the problem of reflux, the balance periodically tends either towards the conservative, or to the surgical approach, was accumulated sufficient experience in open, minimally invasive surgery, and in the conservative treatment. The 10-years using of the recommendations of the European Association of Urology (EAU) provided experience and allowed to transform approaches to the selection of treatment for patients with vesicoureteral reflux.

Abstract

An age of the porotsystemic surgery of portal hypertension is estimated near of 150 years. Such complications as esophageal varices, ascitis, splenomegaly, hepatic encephalopathy requires to decrease the pressure in portal vein system effectively. Otherwise, variceal esophageal bleeding, hepatorenal syndrome, hypersplenism and coma, would be lifethreatening conditions with frequent fatal outcome for patient. 100 years ago Prof. Nikolay Bogoraz proposed mesentericocaval shunt. So, this method of portal decompression is actual up to modern times. A spectrum of surgical interventions for portal decompression is multiplied, but transabdominal operations are intolerable frequently by majority of patients with advanced hepatic insufficiency. Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS procedure) represents as method of choice with high clinical effectiveness and low traumatism.

Abstract

Purpose: evaluation of stress-protectors therapeutic potential in correction of experimental parodontitis combined with emotional stress.Materials and methods: 30 three-months outbred white male rats weighted 190,2±2,23 g were randomized in 6 per serium: intact control, combined stress and inflammation, use of piracetam, thyotriazolin, thyocetam after modeling. Inflammation was created by sodium hydroxide 4 % solution, stress - by immobilization of rats in cage-penals.Results: Stated earlier stressogenous character of inflammation was amplified by immobilization was found in chronic experiment as less alterative compating with acute. Use of thyocetam supports spleen mass coefficient, adrenal ascorbic acid, oxidation balance at control levels, stabilizes summarized-threshold parameter and behaviour reactions in “open field”, prevents blood pressure and pulse rate rise. Same-directed but less expressed effects were genuine for separate thyocetam components.Summary: Thyocetam (250 mg/kg) has antistress action in experimental modeling of oral mucosa inflammation and immobilization stress. Stress-protective capabilities of its components may be a result of potentiation: piracetam (200 mg/kg) and thyotriazolin (50 mg/kg). Use of combined preparation thyocetam in treatment of oral mucosa inflammational diseases on the background of stress is pathogenically approved and effective comparing with its components in these doses.

Purpose. To evaluate the diagnostic value of X-ray Wangensteen examination in case of rectal atresia in newborns.Materials and Methods. 27 newborns were examined: with a simple form atresia (11), with a rectovestibular fistula (9) andwith rectoperineal fistula (7). In all cases Wangensteen X-ray examination was applied.Results. In 15% of cases Wangensteen examination failed to diagnose the level of rectal atresia. In cases of rectal atresia’sassociation with rectovestibular and rectoperineal fistulas, authors suggest to replace Wangensteen examination with irrigography, after fistula’s bouginage and meconium releasing from rectum. Such an examination shows an absolutely true signs of atresia’slevel, so the surgeon can choose an appropriate surgical method of atresia’s treatment.Conclusion. In rectal atresia diagnostics X-ray Wangensteen examination showed false results in 15% of cases. In the presenceof low fistula types of atresia it’s rational to begin the treatment from fistula’s dilation by bouginage and following trans-fistulairrigography.
