Inflammation and Neurodegenerative Changes in Development of the Chronic Pathology of the Central Nervous System
Abstract
The dominant role in inflammatory reaction of the central nervous system is played by microglia cages – the participants neurodegenerative processes. The review contains modern data on regulation of an inflammation of the central nervous system at level of neuro-endocrine answer to illness and damage and the influence on peripheral immune reactions. The expression of inflammatory mediators, cytokines and proteins of the complement system by microglia cages, neurons and astrocytes in reaction to a nonspecific infection can lead to development of neurodegenerative changes and associated diseases.
