Рассмотрен вопрос о его нозологической принадлежности, представлены этиологические теории и эпидемиологические показатели. Описаны варианты развития клинической картины, проблемы терапии. Системный поиск литературы проводился по базам данных Scopus, Web of Science, MedLine, e-library и другим.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This literature review reviews Munchausen syndrome. The question of its nosological affi liation is considered, etiological theories and epidemiological indicators are presented. The options for the development of the clinical picture, the problems of therapy are described.
